What, This World? Chapter 2“It’s getting late, I’d better go.”  That’s how I exited his apartment. Not sure. I might be back. Then again, I could just never go there again. Never see or speak to him again. It seems easy enough; just erase him from memory, from life. Shit, who am I kidding? I’ll be back there again before too long. I always am.  I’m driving home. I’d rather not head home, but then again, I’d rather not go anywhere after that talk we had. He seemed to fucking hurt, so goddamn tender. I wanted to slap him, hard, and in the face. What, This World? Chapter 1“She’s mad at me again.” I sit up on the bed, propping self against a wall. I light a cigarette and tilt head up, watching the smoke.   “Why? Wait, who?” He is confused, maybe a little disoriented still. I warned him the antipsychotics-the human tranquilizers, were good.   I take a deep drag and release it slowly. “My roommate.” A sigh. “Again.”   “Why this time?” For this is not the first time, and we both know it. merry christmas or whatever it is you celebrate.

I have cooked a feast of sorts for me and a few friends.
Think this is one of the best holidays I've had. Spending it with people I enjoy and cooking up a storm.

Though, the apartment is way too warm due to that.
